The Breif

Dolby Laboratories required a simulator installation at its San Francisco headquarters. The system would be used to test and explore the integration of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos within gaming, using F1® 25 as the initial application, while giving the team a practical environment to evaluate the experience and build confidence in the technology.

What We Delivered

Exsim built the system around an X-Lite chassis. The visual setup uses an MSI MPG 491CQPX curved display with Dolby Vision support, paired with a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos Gaming Sound System and headrest speaker. The driving hardware combines a Fanatec ClubSport DD+ wheelbase with Formula steering wheel, Heusinkveld pedals and a Tillett seat. A PC runs F1® 25 with the 2026 Season Pack, bringing the display, audio, simulation hardware and game environment together as one integrated system.
