X6 Motion Simulator
Pit Stop challenge
F1 Show Car
F1 DRIVE wanted to create a dedicated Fan Zone inside its official attraction, giving visitors another way to engage with Formula 1 beyond the karting experience itself.
Exsim collaborated with F1 DRIVE to build an immersive simulator environment that could work as both a standalone experience and an add-on to kart bookings. The space brought together racing simulators, a Pit Stop Challenge and a 2023 F1 Show Car to create a more complete motorsport experience for visitors.
The aim was to give guests a high-energy racing environment that could support public sessions, partner activity and corporate takeovers within the same venue.
Exsim delivered 8 motion simulators for the F1 DRIVE Fan Zone, supported by a Pit Stop Challenge and the 2023 F1 Show Car display.
The simulator experience was designed to give visitors an authentic racing moment alongside their karting session. Guests could book simulator sessions independently or add them to a karting booking, making the Fan Zone flexible for different types of visitors and events.
The setup also used Exsim’s custom launcher and venue management system, allowing the public to race on the official F1 23 game as part of the experience. This helped support the day-to-day operation of the venue, from session access through to the racing experience itself.
The F1 DRIVE Fan Zone became part of the wider visitor experience inside the attraction, adding a dedicated simulator environment alongside karting.
The space has supported public racing sessions throughout the week and weekend, while also being used for F1 partner events and corporate takeovers. By combining simulators, a Pit Stop Challenge and F1-themed show car content, the Fan Zone created a more complete motorsport experience for both casual visitors and event guests.
For Exsim, the project brought together simulator hardware, venue software and interactive motorsport activity in a live public environment, designed to run as part of an ongoing attraction rather than a one-off event.
