At the Porsche Centre Bournemouth track day at Thruxton, Exsim provided a simulator setup to support the on-track experience.

The simulators gave guests a way to prepare before heading out on circuit, connecting virtual practice with real-world driving. With more than 60 cars running on track, the setup added another layer to the day by giving drivers and guests a chance to explore racing lines, braking points and steering inputs before getting into the car.

Exsim provided one X6 motion simulator and one GP1 static simulator for the track day.

The simulators were used as part of the wider event environment, giving guests a practical way to familiarise themselves with the circuit and driving inputs before heading out on track. The setup supported the flow of the day by adding a simulator experience alongside the real-world track activity.

For Exsim, the project shows how simulators can be used at track days and motorsport events not just as entertainment, but as a practical support tool for drivers and guests.
